I'm George, Jorge Jimenez Diaz on paper.

I studied Software Engineering at the University of Camagüey, where I started working in 2019: designing and building web and mobile apps for the university and for state companies in the region, with Django, React, Angular and Android.

At Quental I led a development team on web projects built with Django, Next.js, Vue and NestJS, and then worked as a senior frontend engineer for clients such as the food bank Fesbal and the parcel delivery company GLS. Since November 2024 I've been a Senior Frontend Engineer at SEHMA, leading the development of web and mobile apps with React, Next.js and React Native alongside the product team.

I'm also the founder of Crealix AI. It started as a tool I needed for my own content: one place to go from an idea to a finished video, with script, scenes, voiceover and editing in a single workflow.

    I design and build Crealix AI, a creator-first platform that turns ideas into videos, images and voiceovers in one workflow, from script and scenes to editing.

    • Took the product from first commit to launch as the only engineer: product, design, code, infrastructure and growth.
    • Designed the video pipeline on Trigger.dev, Remotion on AWS Lambda and Cloudflare R2, with model fallbacks and cost limits across AI providers, for videos up to 20 minutes long.
    • Built Stripe and PayPal subscriptions and a credits ledger (13,000+ entries) that charges the real provider cost and refunds failed jobs automatically.
    • Shipped an MCP server with OAuth 2.1, so Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor users create videos from chat: 30+ accounts connected in three weeks.
    • Built Autopilot, which writes, produces and publishes video series to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram on a schedule.
    • Ran growth: 6 languages, a multilingual SEO engine and server-side ad attribution, bringing the cost per paying customer down to $11.

    I lead the development of web and mobile applications with React, Next.js and React Native, working closely with the product team to build intuitive, efficient experiences.

    • Built a Storybook component library on shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS, shared by every app, and shipped the web app as a PWA.
    • Built data-heavy screens with TanStack Query and TanStack Table, typed forms with validation and Cypress end-to-end tests.

    I built and improved user interfaces with Vue.js, Next.js and React for client teams, including the food bank Fesbal and the parcel delivery company GLS.

    • Built back-end services on Django REST Framework and NestJS, with Celery and Redis jobs, cron tasks, Solr search and Puppeteer automation, on PostgreSQL and Docker.
