## Experience

- [Crealix AI](https://www.crealix.ai): Founder & Lead Engineer, May 2026 – present (6 months). I design and build Crealix AI, a creator-first platform that turns ideas into videos, images and voiceovers in one workflow, from script and scenes to editing.
  - Took the product from first commit to launch as the only engineer: product, design, code, infrastructure and growth.
  - Designed the video pipeline on Trigger.dev, Remotion on AWS Lambda and Cloudflare R2, with model fallbacks and cost limits across AI providers, for videos up to 20 minutes long.
  - Built Stripe and PayPal subscriptions and a credits ledger (13,000+ entries) that charges the real provider cost and refunds failed jobs automatically.
  - Shipped an MCP server with OAuth 2.1, so Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor users create videos from chat: 30+ accounts connected in three weeks.
  - Built Autopilot, which writes, produces and publishes video series to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram on a schedule.
  - Ran growth: 6 languages, a multilingual SEO engine and server-side ad attribution, bringing the cost per paying customer down to $11.
- [SEHMA](https://sehma.com): Senior Frontend Engineer, Nov 2024 – present (2 years). I lead the development of web and mobile applications with React, Next.js and React Native, working closely with the product team to build intuitive, efficient experiences.
  - Built a Storybook component library on shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS, shared by every app, and shipped the web app as a PWA.
  - Built data-heavy screens with TanStack Query and TanStack Table, typed forms with validation and Cypress end-to-end tests.
- [Quental](https://quental.com): Senior Frontend Engineer, Aug 2023 – Nov 2024 (1 year 4 months). I built and improved user interfaces with Vue.js, Next.js and React for client teams, including the food bank Fesbal and the parcel delivery company GLS.
  - Worked with each client's development team to design, build and maintain responsive interfaces that work across browsers and devices, with a focus on performance.
  - Structured state and data access with Redux Toolkit and Pinia, with validated forms and Cypress tests.
  - Took part in planning and follow-up meetings, and adapted each solution to the client's needs.
- [Quental](https://quental.com): Technical Team Leader, Apr 2022 – Aug 2023 (1 year 5 months). I led the development team on web projects built with Django, Next.js, Vue and NestJS, working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
  - Led a full-stack team building products for ClimateTrade, a client that helps companies offset their carbon footprint, including an Algorand blockchain integration.
  - Built back-end services on Django REST Framework and NestJS, with Celery and Redis jobs, cron tasks, Solr search and Puppeteer automation, on PostgreSQL and Docker.
  - Built front ends in React, Next.js, Vue and Nuxt, with Redux Toolkit, Ant Design and Storybook.
  - Set the team's practices for Git workflow, code review and automated testing (Pytest, Jest, end-to-end), and mentored its developers.
- [University of Camagüey](https://jime.dev/about): Software Engineer, Sep 2019 – Jan 2022 (2 years 5 months). I designed and built web and mobile applications for the university and for state companies in the region.
  - Worked across the stack: REST APIs in Django REST Framework and Express, front ends in React and Angular, desktop tools in PyQt5 and Android apps in Java.
